I’m beginning to think that the web isn’t even near the top of the list for music promotion. Search for ‘live music roseville rocklin’ and my band comes up on the first page for the two towns I live closest to. A friend’s band (I designed their site) comes up on page two. Similar results for other location-specific searches. Have we ever gotten a single gig from this? Nope. Every. Single. Gig. Has been word of mouth.
So, just so you know, Scott - I tell everyone who will listen that Scott Andrew is the best lo-fi acoustic pop artist there is, and if they haven’t run away yet, I add the he also knows his chicken. And if we can get you down to Scarytomato again, we’ll pack ‘em in and sell, like, eleven and a half CDs.
I’m wearing ‘em down. Really I am.
