The Quality Of Light
Since the computer is going into storage for a few weeks while we transplant to our new digs in Seattle, I had planned to put this site on hiatus for the interim. But it looks like we’ll have at least sporadic access to the interweb before then via the iBook, so scratch that. Watch the police and the tax man miss me, I’m goin’ mobile!
Today is our last day as California residents. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster for the past few months, with lots of fretting and planning and nail-biting. I don’t fully relish the idea of uprooting, leaving behind new friends and now-familiar territory. And like the last time, there’s simply not enough time for all the goodbyes and “last” visits to favorite spots. But I have to say that I’m eager to hit the road and start a new adventure elsewhere.
Adios, California. Be careful who you pick for your new governor, mkay?
But before I go, let me tell you something about the quality of light.
