Scott Andrew - lo-fi acoustic pop superhero!

Yup, Bob Mould is a blogger now. (Unfortunately his RSS feed is screwed up. Ah, well.) Hüsker Dü was the first concert I went to — I think I was sixteen or seventeen at the time when they were touring in support of Warehouse, and despite his forays into more electronic-styled music, I still desperately love albums like The Last Dog And Pony Show. So this is one of those weird life convergencies, like, when your best friend from high school meets your best friend from college, and you just stand there looking at them thinking “that’s so weird.”

Readers may recall that I posted an MP3 acoustic cover of a Hüsker Dü song here about a year ago. Alas, times being what they are, and with Mr. Mould now experiencing that exciting stage of blogging wherein one becomes aware of one’s traffic — and, like, stuff with lawyers, with the pushing and the shoving and the serving of subpoenas — I regret not being able to link to it in honor of this occasion.
