Free Fiona
Fiona Apple’s first two albums Tidal and When The Pawn… are certified multiplatinum success stories. Yet her third album Extraordinary Machine sits in limbo, despite being completed in 2003. Apparently Apple’s label Sony/Epic decided not to release the album due to the high costs involved in promoting it.
So what do you do if you’re a Fiona Fan? You start a grassroots campaign to get the album released.
I hope it works. It’s gotta suck having your art locked up like that.

Neil Young’s ‘Homegrown’, the alleged sequel to ‘Harvest’, has never seen the light of day. Only glimpses we’ve gotten are “Star Of Bethlehem” and “Deep Forbidden Lake” which made it to ‘Decade.’ I’ve wished for 30 years I had the rest of it.
John Fogarty finally won *his* legal battle.
Yeah, music locked up in red tape has to suck big time. Here’s to a successfull unsuckage for Fiona (who has, by the way, a spectacular name :)
