Feeling Infinite
If you get a chance to see Everyday Jones live, do it. Trust me, they jam, and they’re cute to boot.
In two weeks I’ll be playing with Philadephia singer-songwriter Todd Martin (that’s him on the right) here in Seattle at the Conor Byrne. Todd claims Angie Aparo, Matt Nathanson, Rockwell Church, Stephen Kellogg and Howie Day as his influences, so if you’re into any of those artists, you should check out Todd’s stuff. And then, set your Tivo to record “Desperate Housewives” and come out to the show on March 20th.
Walking around downtown Seattle yesterday, we darted into the new Fluevog store to look around. And stacked by the door was a small pile of free Ambulance Ltd. CD singles. And I thought: hey, that’s cool, people into funky urban shoes probably would dig Ambulance Ltd., and the CDs weren’t lost in a sea of other free CDs like they would be at a record store. In fact, it was the only pile of CDs there, sitting right next to the door. Pretty smart street marketing.
