Big Birthday Bash!
So a month from now is my birthday! And I’m throwing a party! Which is completely unlike me! And you’re invited!
On September 23rd, I and the guys in Creeping Time are once again gathering at the Conor Byrne Pub to throw a BIG full-band show bash. We’ll be playing some songs I haven’t performed live in ages, and I’ll be dragging up guest performers all night to sing drunkenly and get beer all over everything.
Also joining us will be the suave gentlemen of Hot Laundry and the original medieval gangstas Nightheart, both of which are far better than the Eagles.
Also on hand will be the following schwag:
- A new CD with 3 new songs on it. Sort of a preview from my next record. They’ll be hand-burned and numbered.
- T-shirts will be back in stock by then, so I’ll be holding random drawings to give away a few.
- Cupcakes. I’m not kidding. It’s MY birthday and there WILL be cupcakes.
Admission is only a pitiful $5.00 USD. The CDs and cupcakes will be first-come, first-served. But! If you RSVP you’ll be guaranteed one of each. No tickets necessary, just show your I.D. at the door and I’ll take care of you.
I’ve spent all summer long planning this event, carefully calibrating the balance to achieve the maximum amount of birthday face-rocking. Hope you can make it.

Can I come up and drunkenly spill beer on my PMC10?
Thanks.
Happy birthday – enjoy!
Dean, you still have your PMC10? So do I! It’s in a closet here somewhere. Thing probably ain’t worth more than 20 bucks now! And I lost the AC power adapter.
Still have it…case covered in dust. I have the adaptor and that little dinky remote programmer and the backup battery is probably dead since I ain’t used it since 1992! Memories. WOW. Funny thing is, every year I consider pulling it out for the church band, but I’d rather hammer on with my left hand and play keys with my right…but that thing was handy…pretty flexible for a piece of junk. I’d like the Roland PK5, just cause it looks cool with the real organ pedals like an old taurus pedal. Good luck with the new tunes and bash. Wish I could be there!
I believe I know Dean.. if he went to Berkshire H.S. in Burton.. I remember the Battle of the Bands. I am glad to see that he continued with his music, enjoying it.. also glad to see that he stuck with church and stuff. I listened to your music.. and I like it. Nice sound.. too bad I cannot catch a show.. but I am on the opposite coast.
[...] The version of “Happy For Me” which appears on Save You From Yourself is more-or-less the original version I’ve been messing around with since, oh, about 2003. The version below is from 2005, recorded for the 3-song EP I made for my big rawkin’ birthday show. [...]
