Scott Andrew now in MP3, Ogg and FLAC
I’ve finally launched something I’ve been wanting for awhile now: my own digital download store. Yay!
On the Music page are links to buy songs in DRM-free MP3, Ogg Vorbis and FLAC formats for a dollar each. The MP3 and Ogg files are twice the quality you’d get from iTunes, and the FLAC files are even better (and larger).
(And phew, that was a ton of work. I spent more time doing file management than anything else. Just getting all the ID3 info in there was a project in itself. I don’t really expect to make a ton of money from this, but who cares? I’m glad to have an option to offer different formats and better audio quality without going through a third party.)
Currently my last two CDs are available, and I’ve included a totally remixed and remastered version of The Weight, the digital-only bonus track on Where I’ve Been. In the next few weeks I hope to have some new music in there as well.
Anyway: ta-da! If you buy a file or three, drop me a line and let me know how smoothly (or chunkily) it went.

I don’t care what anyone else says, your music and web savvy are to be honored! The site gets better all the time!
Scott, I’ll buy the Stalker’s Response when you bring it out! :) Pretty please!!

Scott, it looks great. When I have more than one song to offer, I may attempt the same thing. (I’d love to avoid Snocap/e-Junkie if possible…but it probably won’t be, my coding skillz byte.) Nice job – and great stuff.
