I has the pink eye
I just got back from shooting the cover of the new CD with ScottMo and his awesome wide-angle lens. I’m looking forward to seeing the proofs next week.
I never planned to have my face on the cover, which is just as well since I came down with a nasty case of conjuctivitis — aka the “pink eye” — earlier this week. My eyes are so hideously red and itchy I look like a cast extra from 28 Days Later. It didn’t help that I spent most of the photo shoot squinting into the sun, my eyes constantly tearing and my hands covered in melted ice cream and bike grease. I guess that last bit will make more sense once you see the CD cover.
I think I’ll go stick my head in the freezer now.

Worse than Springsteen on the cover of “Darkness on the Edge of Town?”
Scott, I’ve got a couple frozen Skor bars you could use to ice that aching head of yours…
By the way, bicycle grease is not a good substitute for trans-fats.
Hi Scott,
The best thing for pink eye is Mother’s milk. Just get some woman to squirt a little in your eye a few times and you’ll be good as new.
