Pre-orders end today

SYFY!Today is the last day you can pre-order my new album. At this point I’ve run out of things to say about it, and I’m sure you’re getting weary of the constant promotion and flogging here. I’m looking forward to shifting my focus back to other things.

This past week was extremely busy. I did a photoshoot for the interior of the CD, finished recording the acoustic bonus CD tracks, started recording a holiday song, and completed the CD artwork. I’ve also finally stopped obsessing over and second-guessing the whole project. During the photoshoot Scott mentioned that there’s a saying in the film industry that films aren’t finished but abandoned. You could spend a lifetime grinding out all the tiny flaws but you’d never get to “done.” Considering that Jim and I started this project in spring 2006, I’d say it’s time to push this one out of the nest.

  1. And Save You From Yourself Contributor!Tim Walker did speak thusly:

“…films aren’t finished but abandoned” - I’ll have to remember that one. It seems quite transferrable to the world of the recording project…

I finally got around to putting in my pre-order a few days ago - looking forward to hearing the results of all your toil!
